Da Subjacência à superfície: a contribuição de Leda Bisol para a Fonologia e a Linguística brasileiras
Ubiratã Kickhöfel Alves Gladis Massini-Cagliari
This book brings together, in a single volume, Leda Bisol’s analyses of a wide range of topics in the Phonology of Brazilian Portuguese (such as the Phonology–Morphology Interface, Vowel Harmony, Palatalization of Dental/Alveolar Stops, Diphthongs, Nasality, the Syllable, Word Stress, Prosodic Constituents, among others), grounded in a discussion of the concept of grammar that underlies the researcher’s work. It is a tribute from the Brazilian Linguistics Association to Professor Leda, whose research has influenced different generations of Brazilian linguists. The chapters are authored by Professor Leda’s students and former advisees, all prominent scholars in phonological studies in Brazil.
