Metaphorical Constructions in Children’s Narratives
Undergraduate student in Languages and Literature – Portuguese and English at the University of Passo Fundo (UPF) and PIBIC/CNPq Scientific Initiation fellow.
The aim of this reflection is to describe how “analogical transfers of denominations” (BENVENISTE, 2020, p. 40) are established in the shifts made by children in language, drawing on Benveniste’s theoretical principles and the enunciative–acquisitional perspective proposed by Silva (2009), which is derived from those principles.
