Abralin em Cena Bahia was an initiative by the Associação Brasileira de Linguística (Abralin) and carried out in partnership with the Universidade Estadual de Feira de Santana (UEFS) [State University of Feira de Santana] and with the Graduation Program in Linguistic Studies (PPGEL/UEFS).
The main purpose of the event Abralin em Cena Bahia, with the theme “Linguagem e Sociedade” [Language and Society] was to increase the network to be formed due to the diversity of Linguistic themes and interfaces to be included in the event programming, by means of debates and publication of researches developed within the Graduation Programs in Linguistics and interfaces.
