We are glad to announce that UFAL’s board was elected by acclamation to rule ABRALIN in the next two years. The board comprises the following members:

Helson Flavio da Silva Sobrinho – 1st Secretary
Eliane Barbosa da Silva – 2nd Secretary
Luciana Lucente – 1st Treasurer
Fábia Pereira da Silva – 2nd Treasurer
All the researchers are professors in the Federal University of Alagoas (UFAL). The complete board represents a diversity of fields and research lines within Linguistics: Phonetics/Phonology, Psycholinguistics, Syntax, LIBRAS [Brazilian Sign Language], Discourse Analysis, Indigenous Languages, etc. All board members are experienced in organizing big events. The current ABRALIN board wishes UFAL colleagues to be successful and is available for everything that may be necessary, in order to ensure the continuity of the activities of our association and its success in the representation of Linguistics in Brazil.
